Innisfail Fish and Game Association, along with the Town of Penhold, present: Kids Can Catch Day 2026!

When: Saturday, September 19, 2026 

Time: 10am to 3pm

At this FREE, family-friendly event, kids can catch from a pond with Northern Pike in Penhold at the Penhold Commons Pond (behind the Multiplex).

We will provide:

• Rods and tackle

• Lunch and refreshments

• Volunteers to help kids learn to fish

Rules:

• NO live bait (we will supply bait)

• Lifejackets are required (we have some extras available)

• Kids must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian

• Participants aged 16+ must hold a valid fishing license

• Smoking, vaping, cannabis, and alcohol are STRICTLY PROHIBITED within the Penhold Commons area.

• This is a family event meant for kids to experience fishing. Parents/guardians may help, but please do not fish on your own. We want to leave enough space for all kids to have a chance at catching a fish.
